This is the first post on the Yappo blog. It exists mostly to prove the blog system works end to end - so feel free to delete it once real posts land.
What this blog is for
Yappo is about meeting someone new in seconds. This blog is where we write about the things that make that worthwhile:
- Better conversations - how to start, what to ask, and how to keep a chat with a stranger going past "hi".
- Staying safe - the simple habits that keep meeting people online fun instead of risky.
- Meeting people - language exchange, new perspectives, and the small serendipities that come from talking to someone you would never have met.
How posts are written
Every post is a markdown file in content/blog/. The frontmatter at the top
sets the title, description, date, author, category, and tags. There is no
database and no CMS - posts ship with the code.
